National Performance Warehouse, FL Acquires Frank Edward’s Co., Utah

Second Purchase of 2015; Deal to Close May 26th….

Miami, FL, May 8th:Things are moving fast for Florida’s National Performance Warehouse as they have announced their second new location in the first five months of 2015. Last month NPW completed its purchase of Racer’s Equipment Warehouse in Rhode Island.

The Frank Edwards Co. is nearing its centennial as it started in business in 1916. The company operates from a 100,000 sq. ft. modern, highly automated facility in West Valley City, Utah.

NPW is a wholesale only operation supporting jobbers and retailers. Store operations of the purchase will soon be flying the Auto Value banner under new management. The new operators were not disclosed at press time.

Larry Pacey, President and CEO of NPW had these words;

“It was just a few weeks ago that I had the opportunity to say that we are always looking for good fits in traditional , engine or performance companies. The Frank Edwards Co. came along and was a fit and filled space we needed  west of the Mississippi. We need to be in the right areas to service customers the same or next day and this deal continues to allow us to meet our goal.”

In response to the transaction Frank Edwards Co. President Bruce Hart stated;

“We are a family run business and so are the NPW Companies. I believe our values and goals are aligned and being a member of the NPW family will be good for our customers, employees and suppliers for many more years to come.”

The National Performance Warehouse Companies now operates 10 distribution centers in the US and Canada: 4 facilities inFlorida; Miami,(2), Ft Lauderdale and Tampa, Ajax, Ontario Canada, Warwick, RI, three facilities in California; Vernon, Sacramento and San Jose  and soon West Valley City, Utah.
