National Auto Parts Warehouse Companies (NPW), announced that it has agreed to acquire Star Distributing in Phoenix, expanding its presence in the West Coast. The transaction is expected to close before the end of July.
The Phoenix location is the first NPW acquisition in Arizona and joins 6 other NPW locations on the west coast. Founded in 1975 to secure better pricing to service his Auto Parts Store, Charles J. King began Star Distributing. In 1990 Star Distributing acquiring and merged with Republic Automotive, which doubled their sales. Today, Star Distributing is run by late Charles’ two sons, Charles and Jeff King and has been selling automotive products in the state of Arizona for over 40 years.
